Dolly Warren smiles when people comment on how wonderful Madison is and how it has become such a great place to live. Born and raised 1 block off the Capital square she fully understands the high quality of life Madison and the surrounding suburbs have to offer. After graduating from the UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, she purchased her first home in Maple Bluff, a community she loves for its small town hospitality and convenient location. After several years teaching she took a leave to start a family.

Dolly obtained her first taste of the Real estate business through owning and managing rental properties in the Madison area. By acquiring her real estate license she was able to help former tenants fulfill the desire to own a home of their own. She received such great satisfaction from helping people achieve a part of the American dream that in 1984 she took that aspiration and started Lakewood Realty. Since then she has been a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Wisconsin REALTOR Association and the Realtors Association on South Central Wisconsin.

In an effort to continually further her knowledge of the real estate business Dolly has acquired the Accredited Buyers Representation (ABR) designation and the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. She is a Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI) and is one of twelve individuals to receive the Pride Award.

Dolly specializes in historic homes and lake real estate in Madison, more specifically those in Maple Bluff, and provides personalized service to all. Her years of experience, aggressive marketing and negotiating skills, along with her ability to guide without pressure in making important decisions, is a great benefit to her clients. Attention to detail is one quality she deems most important when orchestrating each transaction in addition to her ability to be attentive to the needs of both buyers and sellers which has resulted in stress-free experiences for all.

Now over 20 years later she decided it was time to step down from her position as Broker/Owner of Lakewood Realty. In January 2008 she sold the successful company she started to her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Ted Krez. By staying on as a licensed Realtor she is still able to do what she loves-helping others buy and sell real estate- and can witness the company as it continues to grow as a business that provides great service to the Madison community.
