Home Buying intro So you’ve decided to buy a house. Purchasing a home is a great investment in your future. It is a means to provide security and build wealth.
How Realors® Are Paid Typically when a homeowner sells their home and has it listed with a Real estate agent they will pay a Commission of “x”% of the sale price to the Listing Broker. In turn if another Agent brings the buyer for that property, the listing broker will share the commission with the Buyer’s Agent. If you have signed a Buyer's Agency Contract with an agent you agree to pay for the service they provide like you would for instance an inspector or surveyor. Again if the property is listed with another agent on the MLS your buyer agency fees will be paid for by the seller which is included in the "x"% commission. If the property is not listed the fee for the Buyer Agency would be incorporated into the Offer to purchase which would instruct the seller to pay Lakewood Realty on the buyer’s behalf. Lastly they buyer can pay Lakewood Realty directly upon Closing of the sale. |
