As a buyer you can choose to work with a Buyer's Agent or a Seller's Agent. Either way, by working with a professional, licensed by the state of Wisconsin, you can expect fair treatment for all parties involved in the Real estate transaction.
There are 3 ways a REALTOR® can represent a client:
Buyer's Agent
Throughout the home selling process they represent you, the Buyer. By signing a Contract with a Buyer's Agent you can ensure that they will represent your best Interest by monitoring the transaction from beginning to end. They work solely in the Buyer's best interest.
Seller's Agent
A seller's agent will represent your interests by taking care of your specific needs, while providing full Disclosure to the seller.
Multiple Representation
Multiple representation exists if a Broker has an agency agreement with more than one client in the same transaction. If both parties consent the broker may provide service to both clients.
Designated agency means that different agents employed by the broker will negotiate on behalf of you and the other client/clients in the transaction, and the broker's duties will remain the same.
